Reasons For Poor Mobile Phone Signal.
Poor mobile phone coverage can occur If the location of network mast is far from your area this can pose a huge problem in the area because the further the mast the lower
Materials used in the construction of the outer walls of the building like the concrete walls, metallic materials, the double glass glazings can prevent signal by creating a “Faraday” preventing signals from penetrating the buildings.
Internally the insulation materials used in the building can also prevent signals from entering and amplifying in the building. But with our signal boosters, you are less likely to experience any of this, not even drop calls.
Setting Up Your Mobile Booster
With our Mini Dual bands’ 4G booster like every other of our booster is quite easy to set up, it is basically a plug and play device. The package comes with a Signal Booster, Outdoor and Indoor antennas, 10 metres coax cable, a power supply and an easy to use instructions manual.
If you are in an extremely weak signal location, you will need to buy a stronger unit like the Pro models. Firstly you will need to figure out a position in the roof where you can locate a good signal, it doesn’t have to be a full bar with our boosters 1-2 bars is enough for us to amplify and do the magic.
Once this location is figured out, mount the outdoor antenna if possible facing the general direction of the network mast. Do not point directly at this mast as it may cause interference and overload the booster.
Connect one end of the coax cable to the external antenna and the other end to the outdoor port of the booster. The position of the booster is entirely up to you we however recommend it should be secure inside the building with a minimum distance of 10 metre away from the outdoor antenna.
Once this is done, you then connect the indoor antenna to the mobile port on the Booster securely. Plug in the power supply cord and switch your booster on. You should begin to notice an increase in the bars on your mobile phone. If the result you get is not what you anticipated please do not hesitate to give us a call as we are here to help.
